3 in 1 function allows machines to cut and rear discharge, cut and collect, and cut and mulch. Where grass is longer, or collection is not required, grass can be cut and rear discharged. For shorter grass, users have the option of either traditional grass collection, or the increasingly popular method of mulching.

Mulching Explained
Mulching cuts the grass into very fine clippings which are then forced back into the lawn, giving a natural nitrogen boost which leaves your lawn looking green and healthy. The other benefit of mulching is eliminating the need for emptying the grass collector, which can save up to one-third of the cutting time.
